There are rumours around the net that have a lot of people hoping for a new start to Gilmore Girls as a series. There are simply so many reasons why it can and should be done including, a gigantic fan base that has high hopes of the show returning to television through either a major network or Netflix.

Does anyone truly know what the term “enlightenment” means or where it originated?
Enlightenment: a philosophical movement of the 18th century, characterized by belief in the power of human reason and byinnovations in political, religious, and educational doctrine. An intellectual movement of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries marked by a celebration of the powers of human reason, a keen interest in science, the promotion of religious toleration, and a desire to construct governments free of tyranny. Some of the major figures of theEnlightenment were David Hume, Immanuel Kant, John Locke, the Baronde Montesquieu, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, and Voltaire.

Enlightenment is the crumbling away of untruth.
In the past few months, I’ve written a couple of pieces about enlightenment and what it does not mean. I’ve also written a couple of pieces about a YouTube “Guru” where I’ve had everything from swearing to threats and everything in between because I exposed my personal thoughts on Ralph Smart (Infinite Waters Diving Deep). In effect, I was expressing my own opinions with research to back those thoughts and therefore, become “enlightened” towards the truth of who this young man is and what he is doing. Unfortunately, those who haven’t become “enlightened” at all, disagreed and proceeded to tell me such in not so flattering ways toward themselves, their own “enlightenment” nor, in doing Smart any favours. It simply showed me and other readers simply how un-enlightened they truly were as well as how well Ralph Smart had reached in “enlightening” his viewers. The anger, hate and resentment that these readers showed, exposed to not only me but, other readers how unenlightened they truly are. Their words said one thing but, the tone of their messages, said quite another thing. As a mater of fact, their voices came across as the complete opposite of what they claim Smart was teaching them and rightfully so because Smart, after my research, is no more enlightened than any other ordinary person walking this planet. He’s learned “street/Life smart” but, not true enlightenment and it’s that advice that he doles out to viewers who were and still are, sending me hate filled, angry, bitter or disillusioned messages and comments.
Enlightenment has a different meaning than what New Agers have given to the term. There are very few, if any, people on this planet who will be able to reach the type of enlightenment that New Agers have defined within their parameters for being embodied makes it extremely difficult, if not impossible for one to raise their awareness to levels to that of the disincarnate. Even devout monks who have spent years in caves with no to little possessions, spending most of their waking moments in meditation and have yet been able to reach the levels that these commenters feel that they and Smart have reached by watching electronic versions of Smart, preaching eating habits and street-wise tips to them has reached.
It’s hardly rocket science to see that those who have spent their lives devoted to only the cloth on their bodies, living in squalor conditions, un-distracted by modern conveniences or other people are having a hard enough time in attempting to reach this level that Smart lovers claim they are at or heading towards while citing what they consider to be my un-enlightened state of being. It’s a far reach for one to imagine that someone like Smart who lives with all of the modern conveniences while making a living that not only covers his monthly bills but pads his pockets further by proclaiming to know how to live life, has been enlightened to any degree above those who have spent their lives attempting to do so while living in caves with only the bare necessities of Life. Anyone watching him, swallowing his every word or nearly all of them and perhaps, eating Vegan while partying and going about their daily lives as normal the rest of the time is as far from enlightenment as Smart is. It’s all illusional and in a high number of cases, desperation induced delusional. The same holds true for other YouTube Gurus like Teal Swan (seen in Smart’s videos as well). She’s another one that I have less distaste for because she’s not as transparent as Smart is about making money off of those who watch her. While mono toned in her videos and almost expressionless, she at the least, backs up some of her explanations with either metaphysical or semi-Quantum physics. Still, neither of them are any closer to being enlightened than the next person. They’ve simply become good at drawing in subscribers. In that point, I will give them both the thumbs up. They are enlightened on how to draw in subscribers to their channels and make viewers believe that they know how to live Life. I won’t take that away from them and kudos to them for that much however, neither is as enlightened as they’d want viewers to believe and, in that sense, I am more “enlightened” than those who send me nasty, hate-filled comments about Smart because I’ve dared to see the “truth” in both of these people and their motives.
I will leave this here with the quote above by Hanh to ponder and meditate on. His quote says it all.
From my little corner of life, enlightenment is simply knowing “the truth” and nothing more. We cannot know the truths about other realms or worlds until or unless we are in them. That includes other people’s minds, lives and shoes as well.
Take this as a comical viewpoint from an outsider looking in.

It’s not quite clear what it is about American politics when you disagree that Trump isn’t a god. Somehow, the retort is usually, “You LIBERALS….” as though being Liberal is a dirty word. Perhaps to hard-core Republicans or Conservatives it is akin to being sub-human. I don’t know one way or the other but, I’ve heard it often enough when I’ve been in conversations about the Trump Administration of late.
Fact is, I’m neither a Democrat nor a Republican. I take core values from both the Conservatives and the Liberals and see which ones fit my morals and needs most closely and choose from there. There is no party that will get them all right in my world. Yet, that statement will come out of (more often than not) Republican’s mouths faster than a fly can flutter around sh*t.

So, what exactly is a “Keyboard Coward” you may be asking yourself right now.
Keyboard Cowards as they’ve been termed by many now are the people who sit behind their computer, tablet or phone screens and type nasty comments to others on the net because they feel anonymous. There’s safety in their minds when they’re sitting behind a computer screen in their own surroundings, typing away ill-thought comments, swearing or taking aim at someone and yes, even cyber bullying. These are the “little” people who have no real brains, no real lives and no backbones of their own so, they use the anonymity of the net to fight battles that they normally couldn’t or wouldn’t dare attempt in real life with real people in front of them. They can also be the ones who are stoned or high or drunk or whatever and seemingly love to troll the net, finding places for what they either see as “brilliant comments” or ones that they know are unacceptable and therefore, could never be said in person in public or by them. Either that, or they are simply ignorants.
I’ve recently endured a flood of these morons, coming into my blog daily and entering comments on one certain topic that I shall not name right now. These ignorant commenters have never read another piece I’ve written in the hundreds of posts that I’ve written over the past several years. They don’t know me from “the cat down the road” but, they think that they do and from there, they have either become so unadulteratedly rude and ignorant that I’ve had to delete their comments as no other human eyes deserve to have to endure reading the types of wording these people have used or, they’ve attempted to psychoanalyze me as a person, said their 2 cent’s worth in an angry, bitter way and jumped ship, never to return again nor, having read anything else I’ve ever written. Those are the “Cowards” with keyboards.
At one point, I had been debating about a certain topic that I’d written a few pieces on and whether or not to delete them all. After all, this is a hobby for me and I have no wish to make money nor, fame nor emulate a certain net celebrity in any way. However, I kept procrastinating taking these pieces down because literally, thousands have read them and there were only a few (by comparison) who were stupid and foolish enough to have commented as Keyboard Cowards. Besides, I reasoned with myself, I had gone to the time and trouble to research and write these pieces. A couple of them came from personal experience but, most were well researched before I had written them.
Today, I decided that my goal in writing this blog was not to take abuse and I removed all but 2 pieces on this topic. Sadly and pathetically, the Keyboard Cowards just can’t seem to help themselves and have continued on with the nasty comments because I took the pieces down from publication.
My first question was “why”? Why would it keep these Cowards going when there was nothing left to rant on about. Why would it even bother them that I had written my personal opinion on a topic that not only did they not need to read (I had no gun to their heads) but, it was my personal opinion, in my own space that had nothing to do with them, personally. So, why did they feel the need to comment the way that they did whether I had them up and now, down?
It’s only in thinking more deeply and using my own psychology and metaphysical training that I recognized two important things.
Keyboard Cowards love to troll the net, looking for places to vent their anger, hostility and do a sh*t-kicking at anyone and anything that they can. It’s their way of voicing their frustration with their own lives, without the fear of having someone knock their faces and teeth out should they voice it in public or person to person. I had removed that source and they don’t like that. It’s akin to taking away a toy from a child who would destroy it if left to their own devices. They’re mad. They want to play and there’s nothing there to play with anymore.
Probably the most pathetic of it all are the Cowards who don’t have a backbone of their own so, they need someone else’s to hold them up. Anyone not thinking their back bone person is the greatest thing since sliced bread, is considered a “threat” to their back bones. That, they cannot deal with and, they’ll take swipes from the anonymity of their keyboards and screens in defence. They cannot stand to see anyone who might publicly make others see what they, themselves cannot and do not want to see because they need their pseudo back bones to hold them up. After all, anyone with a real back bone, doesn’t need to prove someone else wrong to make themselves “right” in their own minds, do they? My pieces did just that. It not only poked a hole in their inflated idol but, it possibly made sense to some that their “god” wasn’t as all-knowing as they want them to be. There goes the back bone or life raft for them that they cannot find without someone like this idol, telling them what to do and how to do it.
One thing further that I discovered is that anyone who proclaims to be “spiritual” but, has the language and uses it the way that these people have, have no spirituality and simply belong to a cult-like following. There’s nothing more to it than that.
True spirituality doesn’t mean loving everything and everyone. Remember that. Even Jesus upturned the tables of the money changers in a fit of anger. Now, would someone call Jesus “un-spiritual”? Not even these Keyboard Coward’s Idol would. However, it’s also showing me what I already knew. This “idol” is doing them NO favours and the propaganda being spewed out every day by them, doesn’t work. I have to thank these commenters for proving that to me.

To the dirt bags who profess to listen to and allegedly be Ralph Smart (Infinite Waters Diving Deep) lovers but come in to comment with a “F**k you!” because I don’t happen to feel the same way that you do about Smart, I say, “F**k you” back now. Sadly and pathetically, while you may be spending hours and hours, watching Smart’s Youtube videos and profess to be “Deep Divers” it’s you who are making it quite obvious that Smart hasn’t been such a wise choice for you in spite of your proclamations of how “calming” he is for you.

No matter how much you claim to “love this guy” and his “free Youtube videos”, making comments like this because I don’t happen to feel the same about him as you do, is simply showing me that I’m correct in what I’ve written about him and he’s doing no good for people like you who are displaying behaviour like this towards someone else with a differing point of view than yours.
A pleasant voice tone, smile and branches blowing in the background may seem friendly and perhaps, even calming but, those who walk away from hours worth of his videos to comment with comments like that are either showing that they’re not getting anything out of his videos or, he’s not what you crack him up to be. He’s doing you no good.
Lastly, I’ve said it before, I don’t have gun to anyone’s heads. You don’t need to read anything I’ve written about Smart. You have your beliefs and I have mine. I can agree that we disagree. Why can’t you? Why must you comment like that? What drives you to do that? No one is forcing anything on you. You are making your own choices. If you are choosing to read my opinions on him, then you are also choosing to accept that I have a right to not think he’s a god or even a true psychologist. You swearing at me, doesn’t change either one. I will still feel the way that I feel and…as a matter of fact…your comments have simply entrenched my viewpoints on him even more deeply. You’re proving further to me that I am right to think what I do about all of this so….

You can’t have something deemed as “illegal” then go on to sell it and open more stores to sell it. That’s common sense but, Pot Dispensary owners don’t seem to be getting that message. They simply keep opening up more and more of the same as though it were legal and there should be no issues. If they are raided and shut down, the owners and pot users, scream out about the unfairness of it all.
Yes, the argument that weed is alleged to have great properties, is not harmful, is “natural” and “cures” so many ailments etc. ad nauseam and infinitum has gone on and on but, that’s not the issue that is at the heart of this piece. The real problem is, pot is illegal still in many places in the world. Whether that should be changed or not, is open to individual interpretation at this point in time. There are debates on both sides of the coin on the topic, for differing reasons. One can find as many points against or for it as one wishes. The reality is, right now, in many parts of the world, it’s still illegal and therefore, anyone selling it especially, an illegal dispensary, should find no surprise in being raided and shut down. Right or wrong, that’s the law right now and people can’t go against laws without consequence because they think or feel that the laws are “stupid”.
This pieces comes on the heels of Marc and Jodie Emery (aka The Prince of Pot) having been arrested in the airport in Toronto. Arraignment hearings are or have happened today. The Pot Pair were on their way to a Marijuana expo in Spain when detained and arrested. Their weed shops in several cities have been raided today and customers as well as marijuana users are outraged that this has happened to both the couple as well as their stores. The only question running through my mind is “why?”. Why would anyone be surprised that the Emerys were arrested and their shops are being raided when it’s still illegal? They’re constantly committing crimes by selling the still illegal substances and worse, they are throwing back in authorities faces by getting arrested, Marc even jailed for 4 years over U.S. seed sales, while Jodie is still running around, opening more illegal dispensaries.
Take into account another example. It’s illegal for stores to sell alcohol and tobacco to minors or those under a certain age. No one balks at those rules and, while many will say, “but, pot is being sold responsibly to non-minors too,” the fact is that selling to minors is illegal. Let’s suppose though that people started feeling that minors were going to get their hands on both tobacco products as well as alcohol no matter what so, shops start springing up illegally to sell these substances illegally to minors. What would be the sentiments then? Is that ok or, should those shops be closed down and the operators, owners and staff arrested? Would you care or, would you be cheering authorities on to shut the illegal shops down and have the operators or owners, arrested?
If you answered to yourself that it’s wrong and they should be arrested because it’s illegal, then you have your answer for why these pot dispensaries, along with the Emerys are being legally wrist slapped. I say wrist slapped because we all know they will be out on their way on the streets again in a day or so and probably, re-opening their stores again. However, if you answered that you don’t care one way or another whether stores that sell alcohol and tobacco illegally to minors then, you may have to re-think your thinking about laws and even your own morals.
Whether or not weed should be legalized is not up for nor, the debate here. The real issue we’re speaking of here is that as long as weed is deemed illegal, it’s illegal and there are consequences to breaking the laws as they stand right now. Even if people think it’s a “stupid law”, the point is, it is illegal right now and that’s the entire point of this piece, not whether it’s a right or wrong law. One cannot go against the law and expect to go on with their practises without repercussions for breaking them. It’s akin to driving a vehicle without proper licensing, insurance or following traffic laws. The law is going to come down on you if you aren’t following them. That’s all that there is to this matter right now and frankly, I wish that they’d throw both the Emerys into jail cells and throw away the key for having broken the laws many, many times over. Again, this has nothing to do with the entire pot-is-good-for-you or, pot-is-not-good-for-you, idea. It’s purely a statement about the law and breaking it.
And simply for posterities’ sake, I take great issue to the weed flag being a mimic of the Canadian flag in green instead of red with a marijuana leaf instead of the maple leaf. Find another flag design.
